CNY-malaysia trip 09-12 feb
sorree peeps! couldn't find the time to blog. Anyways, here are the top 5 HIGHLIGHTS (:

1. PIG-HEADED MOSQUITOS: I DECLARE WAR.
no offences pearlyn, but those mosquitos in MALAYSIA are Stubborn. and they are vicious and everywhere. i thought chemical warfare would kill these little flying things, and i got insect repellent patch, insect repellent spray and intesticide packed. but they still got me before i got them. Hurrs. now i've got all these bites all over my limbs and i'm scratching and itching like crazy.(FYI: female mosquitos are the ones who suck blood. males stick to plant sap. Either way, they SUCK)

2. NEVER TRY COLD TURKEY/REHABILATION
four whole days leaving my dear handphone behind, along with the hi-fi system, cds and the computer. and in the kampung area in Malaysia, the cybercafes are EXTINCT. so pratically, all cononections with the cyber world was cut off and i suffered from fits and spams. besides, i have weak will-power.

3. GET RICH QUICK
cos my cousin's wedding was on friday, i met alot of relatives that i don't even know i have. just smile and the auntie who claimed her blood flows in mine hands a red packet to you. but as you get all wide-eyed and trembling with joy as you tear the angpows one by one you suddenly realise that all that amount of cash is DIVIDED BY HALF once you get back to singapore.SHUCKS.

4. KA-BOOMS
suddenly filthy rich also equals to sudden spurge of cash.
and what else but to waste it on a pile of explosives aka pao-zhangs and blow them up and see them shoot up in the air, explode,shoot flames, whatever. my cousins and i went lighting them all at mid-night, after the neighbourhood's nightly fireworks display ceased, and laughed sadistically.

5. LONG-KAIS
loosely translated: going out for a drive on vehicle for fun.
when all our explosives were either confiscated by disapproving adults or used up, we get so bored at night the whole group of us 8 underaged cousins would beg our smallest uncle or another cousin licensed to drive and all will hop onto a car and go for a spin at night outside kampung for late-night supper and all. at the countryside where police don't care, kids my age are already riding motorcycles but my mom wouldn't let me try. :(

today went back to school. KEMING that's it.
it's pretty large now.
but i still miss the old campus(:
one thing i realise is that so little peepurs went back.

everyone changed so much.

went for lunch at westmall.
just jiarong, paopao, haoguang, tammy and me.
it's so un-nerving quiet when we ate.
